Ramnagar Beach is a lovely length of palm-fringed beach located 35 kilometers from Diglipur in the southeastern area of the Northern Andamans. The environment ministry gradually develops the beach into an environmentally stable attraction, with outdoor tree huts to bask in Ramnagar's splendor. Covered by palm and coconut palms, the coast is primarily uninhabited and ideal for people seeking peace. When compared to other beaches, Ramnagar beach has some of the most magnificent sunsets. This panorama is enticing due to the sparkling aquamarine lake and golden sand. For guests to rest and take in the views, benches, eco-huts, and log couches have been placed along the shore where adjacent trees give more than enough shade.
Ramnagar Beach is home to Olive Ridley turtles and serves as a nesting site for these beautiful creatures. The nesting season for turtles lasts from December to March. The beach closes in the evening, and no one is permitted to go on it after five o'clock to protect the eggs. An artificial hatchery, similar to the one at Kalipur Beach, has been established here as well.
Further, visitors may see female sea turtles deposit their eggs in the sand and then see them hatch and make their journey to the big ocean. Because of the crystal clear water and exceptional visibility, Ramnagar Beach is ideal for snorkeling. Corals are spiky, making swimming difficult most of the time. However, going a little farther into the sea leads to a living S-shaped coral reef that attracts a variety of colorful species, enhancing the snorkeling adventure. This requires experienced swimmers because the waves may be relatively large, and the tides can be extremely high at times.
Best Time To Visit
The beach is available to tourists all year, but the months of December to March are perfect for seeing the famous Olive Ridley Turtle hatching.
How to Reach

What To See/Do
Palm and coconut trees, as well as various coastal vegetation, line the shore. In the settlement, there are few amenities and a few tiny stores at the bus stop. Swimming is permitted on this beach. A natural trail for hikers is an extra bonus.
If you come between November and April, you can see how the turtle eggs are preserved, and the necessary conditions are provided for the turtles to hatch. Once born, these turtles are released into the water with the hope that they will return.
Ramnagar, a beautiful mix of forests and mountains along the ocean, is a lovely getaway from routine. The beach is isolated from the rush and noise of a metropolis, with few services and just a few modest stores at the bus stop in the town. Like the majority of the Andamans islands, this region will leave you amazed and astonished by its pristine beauty.
