Karmatang Beach is mainly located in Mayabunder 12kms away from the centre of the town, and it is easily connected with the road leading to port Blair. The beach is somewhat 40 km away from Port Blair by road. Ships, ferries, and STS buses ply from Port Blair at regular intervals for Mayabunder. You can also hire a cab to reach Karmatang beach, which is at a distance of 25 minutes. You can also hire a cycle to ride to the beach. From Port Blair, there are buses and cabs available to reach Mayabunder.
It takes 9-hours to reach by steamboat to Mayabunder from Port Blair. There are also private boats available, and you can book according to your budget.
