Meghalaya is one of the country's most stunning states, nestled in the hills of East Sub-Himalayas. The ecosystem has become a hot spot for her with ample precipitation, the sunshine, the untouched mountains, high plateaus, crystal clear rivers, meanders, robust, articulate and welcoming people in particular.
Here, locals, primarily Khasi, Pnar and Garo, are inhabited who are very welcoming. English is the state's official tongue. Couples here can enjoy a scenic holiday. Friends and families can rest in the natural lap of cities such as Shillong. And the difficulty of hiking through the rugged terrain of Meghalaya is for adventure lovers.
In the northeast of India, the state of Meghalaya is established. It is approximately 300 km long and nearly 100 km wide. It is bordered by the districts of Goalpara, Kamrup and Novgong, Karbi Anglong, North Cachar Hills, Assam to the north, and Bangladesh to the south and west.
Meghalaya is subjected to monsoon unpredictability. The temperature depends on the altitude and the height you are at. And what one cannot forget is the extraordinary and enjoyable atmosphere of Khasi and Jaintia Hills. One day I saw India from above, one of the documentaries on the Hotstar channel, and I heard about this bridge and how people made this and even why!!
It was mesmerizing.
You must have seen their photos on the web. The bridge is so famous. This viaduct stands at the height of 2400 feet, around 3 km of the long live root. People walk through the Cherrapunji rain forest, which usually takes 7 hours to reach this famous bridge.
This bridge is an outstanding reminder of how great things can indeed be. With cooperation between humanity and nature, it has become one of the best tourism places in Meghalaya. While Meghalaya has several surprising living root bridges, some of which are believed to be over 500 years old, the double-decker is distinctly famous.

Mawsmai Cave Road
Mawsmai Cave Road is the road on which you will locate the Mawsmai Caves. These dens are a very well maintained group of natural caves. The Meghalayan Ministry of Tourism supervises these. The way the stalactic and calcareous stone is deposited here makes you expect and imagine which model one of the cloisters will imitate.
Moreover, the Department of Tourism also worked to make the visitors safe and comfortable, thus creating eco-friendly lighting and the caverns. This allows visitors to see the varied coloured moose and the algae on the internal walls of the caves and be at the edge.
Mawsynram
It is your spot to get plenty of it if you enjoy the rain. You will enter the clouds here and drink in the limitless amount of rain as it is commonly referred to as the rainiest spot in the world, given that it gets 11,872 millimeters annually on average.
