Day 1 : Siliguri/Bagdogra to Phuentsholing (170 km./ 4.30 hrs)
Start your Bhutan Tour by booking a train to Siliguri (NJP) or a flight to Bagdogra airport (IXB). On arrival at Siliguri (NJP) railway station or Bagdogra (IXB) airport, meet & greet with our representative. Transfer from Siliguri/Bagdogra to Jaigaon/Phuentsholing at Bhutan border. Check into the hotel & rest for the remaining or check out the nearby areas.
Day 2 : Phuentsholing to Thimphu (148 km./ 7 hrs)
Good morning!! start your day’s trip with a journey to Thimphu (7,500 ft), the Bhutan capital. On the way, enjoy the beauty of Bhutan Himalaya. On arrival at Thimphu check into your respective hotel. Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 3 : Thimphu sightseeing
Full day Thimphu sightseeing will start with Tashichho Dzong, the house of most of the govt. offices. Proceed to National Library houses some exclusive collection of Buddhist manuscripts & texts as well as the modern literatures, Zorig Chusm the school of traditional handicrafts & arts. Visit Institute of Tibetology, handicraft emporium & the National Memorial Chorten. Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 4 : Excursion to Punakha, Dochu-La (Pass)
Today, you will have a full day excursion to Punakha (Approx 90 km/ 3 Hours From Thimphu). Punakha is the capital of Punakha Dzongkhag district of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. En-route Dochula Pass. The pass is popular among the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. The place is worth going on clear winter days with magnificent views of snow capped mountains and mountain passes. Transfer to Paro. Overnight at Paro.
Day 5: Punakha to Siliguri/Bagdogra
Today is your last day for your Bhutan Tour Package. Drive back from Punakha to Siliguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra (IXB) for your onward journey with happy memories to cherish.
